Lauzon Select & Better Hard Maple Amaretto is a Canadian-made solid hardwood flooring with a warm, amber-brown stain that brings richness and depth to any room. The Select & Better grade is Lauzon's cleanest and most consistent grading level — featuring minimal knots, virtually no mineral streaks, and a highly uniform surface from plank to plank. If you want a hardwood floor that looks refined and intentional rather than rustic, S&B is the grade to choose.
Lauzon has been manufacturing premium Canadian hardwood flooring since 1985. The S&B grade in Hard Maple represents the top of their Expert collection — finished with Lauzon's Polynium+ Titanium surface coating, which is harder and more scratch-resistant than standard aluminum oxide finishes, and includes antimicrobial PermaClean technology. Hard Maple has a Janka hardness rating of 1,450 lbf, making it one of the most durable domestic wood species available in Canada — ideal for busy households, main floor living areas, and high-traffic corridors throughout GTA homes.
