Appalachian Earth Hard Maple is a ¾-inch solid hardwood floor from the Appalachian Flooring Signature collection, offered here in Advantage grade. The 4¼" plank width is a classic choice, with random-length planks and 18.9 square feet in each box.

Hard Maple is a durable North American hardwood, and solid ¾" construction means the floor can be sanded and refinished over its lifetime. Natural variation in colour and grain means no two floors are identical, and the Earth colour gives your room a distinctive, finished look.
Solid hardwood flooring can be nailed or stapled over a plywood or OSB subfloor (the manufacturer recommends 5/8" plywood or 3/4" OSB); it cannot be installed directly over concrete. Follow the manufacturer's installation and care instructions for subfloor preparation, acclimation and maintenance. Solid hardwood is not recommended for below-grade basements; for basements, see our waterproof SPC vinyl flooring.
