Oak is a classic hardwood known for its prominent grain and enduring, versatile character. Because it is solid wood, the floor can be sanded and refinished over its service life, subject to the amount of usable wood remaining and professional assessment.
Solid hardwood is installed over a suitable subfloor and is intended for rooms that are not prone to moisture or large swings in humidity. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions, and have your installer assess the subfloor and site conditions before installation. Protect the floor from standing water, use felt pads under furniture, and clean with products made for hardwood flooring.
Available by the box at Top Floorings Depot in Toronto. Shop online or contact us for GTA delivery and pickup.
