Appalachian Earth Hard Maple solid hardwood flooring is part of Appalachian Flooring's Signature collection, a range of stain colours on North American hardwood species. The Earth colour is applied at the factory to hard maple planks, giving a ready-to-install floor with the natural character of real wood.
Hard maple is prized for its fine, close grain and a Janka hardness of about 1,450 lbf, giving rooms a smooth, clean look in a very durable species. Each plank measures 3¼" wide by ¾" thick, and each box covers 20 square feet.

Solid hardwood offers the lasting beauty and substantial feel of traditional wood flooring. The Earth colour brings a consistent tone to the floor, while natural variation in the wood gives every room its own character. The 20 sq ft box coverage makes it easy to estimate material for your project.
Solid hardwood requires an appropriate subfloor and installation method for the site conditions. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and have your installer assess the subfloor, moisture conditions and room suitability before installation. Protect the floor from standing water, use felt pads beneath furniture, and clean with products suitable for hardwood flooring.
