Appalachian Amaretto Red Oak solid hardwood flooring is part of Appalachian Flooring's Signature collection, a range of stain colours on North American hardwood species. The Amaretto colour is applied at the factory to red oak planks, giving a ready-to-install floor with the natural character of real wood.
Red oak is a classic North American hardwood with a pronounced, open grain and a Janka hardness of about 1,290 lbf, which makes it a dependable choice for busy family homes. Each plank measures 3¼" wide by ¾" thick, and each box covers 20 square feet.

Solid hardwood offers the lasting beauty and substantial feel of traditional wood flooring. Solid hardwood requires an appropriate subfloor and installation method for the site conditions. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and have your installer assess the subfloor, moisture conditions and room suitability before installation. Protect the floor from standing water, use felt pads beneath furniture, and clean with products suitable for hardwood flooring.
