Have an installer assess the subfloor, moisture conditions and room suitability before installation, and follow the manufacturer's installation and care instructions.
Live sawn lumber combines quarter-sawn, rift-sawn and plain-sawn grain, so expect pronounced variation, knots and character marks from board to board. Engineered construction pairs a real white oak surface with a layered core for added dimensional stability compared with solid wood.
