Searching for Lauzon dealers Toronto usually turns up the same two questions: can you see the boards in person before you buy, and what does the finished floor cost in your rooms? Top Floorings Depot is an authorised Lauzon dealer, and the Lauzon boards we carry can be ordered online or picked up at our Toronto showroom. Our solid hardwood flooring collection lists the boards in stock, and you can take the planks on their own or add our installation service.

Quick answer: where to buy Lauzon hardwood in Toronto

  • Where to buy: our Toronto showroom, or the same boards online in the hardwood collection.
  • Lines we carry: Essential, Exclusive, Select & Better and Authentik, 11 Lauzon SKUs in all.
  • Board prices: $4.99 to $9.99 per sq ft, depending on species, grade and finish.
  • Installation: $2.00 per sq ft for a house or basement, nailed solid hardwood.
  • Delivery: $150.00 flat for Toronto M postal codes, $200.00 for L postal codes.
  • Ordering: add 5% to your measured area for cuts, and 13% HST on the subtotal.

Those six lines cover the short version. Below are the exact boards we stock, what 500 sq ft of each one costs installed, and which extras can appear on a quote.

The Lauzon lines, species and prices in our catalogue

Every board listed here is Canadian-made solid hardwood, 3/4 inch thick and built for nail-down installation. Two widths appear in the range: 3 1/4 inch on the Essential beech, and 4 1/4 inch on the other five.

Product Line Species Plank width Box price Coverage per box Price per sq ft
Lauzon Exclusive Red Oak Vela Exclusive Red Oak 4 1/4 inch $118.83 17 sq ft $6.99
Lauzon Essential Red Oak Limes Essential Red Oak 4 1/4 inch $91.63 17 sq ft $5.39
Lauzon Essential Beech Cape Cod Essential Beech 3 1/4 inch $99.80 20 sq ft $4.99
Lauzon Exclusive Hard Maple Graphite Exclusive Hard Maple 4 1/4 inch $99.80 17 sq ft $5.87
Lauzon Select & Better Hard Maple Amaretto Select & Better Hard Maple 4 1/4 inch $118.83 17 sq ft $6.99
Lauzon Authentik Red Oak Nostalgia Authentik Red Oak 4 1/4 inch $169.83 17 sq ft $9.99

Prices checked October 7, 2026. Box prices and coverage come from our current catalogue, and the price per sq ft is the box price divided by the coverage in the box.

Species and grade explain most of the spread. The two hard maple boards share a species but sit in different lines, and the Lauzon Essential Beech Cape Cod board covers more floor per box than the others at 20 sq ft, which is why it comes out at $4.99 per sq ft. Authentik Nostalgia is wire brushed and carries the highest price of the group at $9.99 per sq ft.

All 11 Lauzon SKUs in the catalogue show as in stock at the price date above. Shelf counts move, so call ahead if you are travelling a distance to see one specific board.

The two maple colours give two quite different looks from the same species. Graphite is the charcoal-grey option from the Exclusive line. Amaretto is the warmer of the pair, a honey-amber stain in the Select & Better grade, and it sits at the top of the maple pricing at $6.99 per sq ft.

Graphite in Exclusive hard maple: $5.87 per sq ft

Amaretto gives the pair its honey-amber look, with a Select & Better grade and a price of $6.99 per sq ft, the highest of the maple options.

What is on the shelf on a given day is a separate question from price, and our post on in-stock versus special order flooring covers how that decision works in general.

Seeing the boards before you buy

Colour can be difficult to judge on a screen. Compare the product-page images and listed details for the Lauzon boards in the collection, and use your room measurements or floor plan to estimate how many boxes you need.

Lauzon Exclusive Red Oak Vela solid hardwood sample board in a warm medium oak stain
Red Oak Vela in the Exclusive line: $6.99 per sq ft

The Vela board above is a warm medium tone, and the Limes board below is a cool, light grey-brown. Both fill 17 sq ft per box, so a colour switch inside the Red Oak group does not change how many boxes a room needs. Comparing the pictured boards side by side shows that difference in tone more clearly than a single thumbnail.

Lauzon Essential Red Oak Limes solid hardwood sample board in a light grey-brown stain
Red Oak Limes in the Essential line: $5.39 per sq ft

If the harder question is which line to buy rather than which colour, our guide to the Lauzon lines explained walks through what Essential, Exclusive, Select & Better and Authentik change in grading and finish. Narrowing the colour first and the line second tends to be quicker, because a box of 17 sq ft of Red Oak can look very different from a box of 20 sq ft of beech once it is down.

What 500 sq ft of each line costs installed

The arithmetic below is the same one our quotes use. Take 500 sq ft, add 5% for cuts, and you are buying material for 525 sq ft. Boxes are sold whole, so 525 sq ft of a 17 sq ft box rounds up to 31 boxes. Installation runs at $2.00 per sq ft on the waste-adjusted area, which is $1,050.00, and delivery inside Toronto M postal codes is a flat $150.00. Ontario HST of 13% goes on the subtotal.

Product (500 sq ft house) Boxes for 525 sq ft Material Installation Delivery Subtotal HST 13% Total
Exclusive Red Oak Vela 31 $3,683.73 $1,050.00 $150.00 $4,883.73 $634.88 $5,518.61
Essential Red Oak Limes 31 $2,840.53 $1,050.00 $150.00 $4,040.53 $525.27 $4,565.80
Essential Beech Cape Cod 27 $2,694.60 $1,050.00 $150.00 $3,894.60 $506.30 $4,400.90
Exclusive Hard Maple Graphite 31 $3,093.80 $1,050.00 $150.00 $4,293.80 $558.19 $4,851.99
Select & Better Hard Maple Amaretto 31 $3,683.73 $1,050.00 $150.00 $4,883.73 $634.88 $5,518.61
Authentik Red Oak Nostalgia 31 $5,264.73 $1,050.00 $150.00 $6,464.73 $840.41 $7,305.14

With installation and delivery counted in, the six totals land between $8.80 and $14.61 per sq ft of floor area. Nothing in the table covers taking out an old floor, subfloor preparation, trim or stairs.

Two rows come out identical because Vela and Amaretto share both a box price and a box size, even though one is Red Oak and the other is hard maple. Beech runs the other way: 27 boxes are enough for 540 sq ft, so it needs four fewer boxes than the rest of the group for the same rooms.

If you want to see how those numbers sit against a big-box route, the group's Toronto cost comparison for 2026 prices the same kind of job from the other side.

What else can appear on the quote

Delivery is a flat rate rather than a per-square-foot charge: $150.00 for Toronto M postal codes and $200.00 for L postal codes, agreed when the order is placed.

Taking out an existing floor is quoted on top of the figures above. Nailed hardwood removal is $1.50 per sq ft in a house or basement, and carpet removal is $0.70 per sq ft, both charged on the area being cleared. On 500 sq ft that is $750.00 for nailed hardwood or $350.00 for carpet.

Glued-down floors and tile are confirmed at quote rather than priced from a table, because adhesive and thinset decide how long the job takes. The same applies to stairs, door shaving and subfloor repairs. Baseboard and transition work is quoted separately at our current trim rates, since the amount depends on how many walls and doorways the room has.

Condominium work is priced per building, so treat the six totals above as house and basement figures. Send your building's rules along with your measurements and the installation price is confirmed on the quote. Where the boards come from is the subject of our look at Canadian-made hardwood from Appalachian and Lauzon, and Lauzon compared with Appalachian goes deeper on how the two mills differ.

How an order and a quote come together

Give us the rooms and we do the rest in one pass. Measure each room at its longest and widest point, write the figures down, and note the floor that is currently down. If you would rather see a rough number first, the flooring budget estimator follows the same five steps used above: area, waste allowance, boxes, installation rate and HST.

When your measurements arrive, we pick the box count for the colour you have chosen, price the installation on the waste-adjusted area, add delivery, and put any removal or trim on separate lines. You get one written price with HST shown, and the box count is there for you to check against your own measurements.

Lauzon hardwood questions Toronto buyers ask

Where can I see Lauzon flooring in Toronto before I order?

Use the product pages linked above to compare the catalogue details and images for the boards we carry. The hardwood collection lists boards in stock, and you can order online or request a quote if you want help matching a product to your measurements.

Do you deliver Lauzon flooring across the GTA?

Delivery is a flat rate added to the quote: $150.00 for M postal codes and $200.00 for L postal codes. It does not change with the number of boxes, so it is worth combining rooms into one order.

Is installation included when I buy Lauzon boards from you?

Boards and installation are separate lines. You can order planks only, or add our nailed hardwood installation at $2.00 per sq ft for a house or basement. Delivery and any removal are quoted alongside them.

What does a square foot of installed Lauzon hardwood work out to?

Across the six worked examples on this page, $8.80 to $14.61 per sq ft of floor area with boards, installation, delivery and 13% HST counted. The boards alone range from $4.99 to $9.99 per sq ft.

What should I send with a quote request?

Room measurements, a photo of each room, and the floor being replaced if it is coming out. Add your postal code so the right delivery rate applies, and mention stairs, doorways and any glued-down or tiled area.
