Yes, we deliver and install flooring in Oshawa and Clarington, and that includes Courtice and Bowmanville. If you have been searching for flooring Clarington or Oshawa stores, this page explains how buying from our Toronto showroom works for a home further east, then puts live box prices on four in-stock floors you can ask us to quote. Two of them come from our vinyl flooring collection, and the other two are a laminate and an engineered hardwood. We state no delivery or installation fee here, because those are priced on your quote.
What delivery and installation looks like for an Oshawa or Clarington home
Our showroom and pickup address is in Toronto, and you will find it at the bottom of this page. For a house in Oshawa or Clarington, the usual route is therefore an order that we deliver and then install, rather than a trip to collect boxes yourself. We deliver and install in both places, including Courtice and Bowmanville.
For a sense of scale, the Region of Durham's report on the 2021 Census first release lists Oshawa at 175,383 people and Clarington at 101,427, and the Municipality of Clarington describes four urban centres that include Courtice and Bowmanville.
Buyers often start by asking whether a local store or a big-box chain makes more sense. Our Home Depot cost comparison covers that question for Toronto prices, and our showroom, big-box and online buying guide compares the three ways of buying.
Readers who live west of Oshawa will find their own advice in our Durham Region guide.
How to start a quote from Oshawa or Clarington
Begin on our quote page, or use the call and text numbers at the bottom of this page. Either way, these details let us answer faster:
- Which rooms are getting new flooring, and roughly how many sq ft each one has.
- Whether any of those rooms is a basement.
- The floor you like, or the budget you want to stay within.
- Your delivery address, so that delivery and installation can be priced for it.
If we need anything more, such as photos or measurements, we will ask for it. Delivery and installation prices for your address come with the quote.
Start with the basement: which of the four floors fits
If your project includes a basement, settle that room first, because it narrows the choice. Our catalogue lists both SPC vinyl floors below as waterproof, and it shows no waterproof listing for the laminate or the engineered hardwood. Our complete basement flooring guide goes into waterproof options, subfloors and costs in more depth.
The two SPC planks differ mainly in thickness and wear layer. The 6mm Riche plank lists a 12mil wear layer and names an IXPE pad in its product title, while the 8mm Riche plank lists 20mil.
Four in-stock floors with live prices
Every price below is a box price. We divide it by the square feet in the box to get a price per sq ft, which is the number to compare between floors.
| Floor | Thickness | Wear layer or rating | Install method | Box price and coverage | Per sq ft |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Riche Blonde Sand Oak SPC vinyl plank (IXPE pad) | 6mm | 12mil | Click-lock | $44.68 per 23.64 sq ft box | $1.89 |
| Riche Heavy-Duty SPC vinyl plank, Nordic Frost | 8mm | 20mil | Click-lock | $37.24 per 16.55 sq ft box | $2.25 |
| Swiss Krono Grey Oak laminate (MV 803) | 10mm | AC5 | Click-lock | $42.83 per 17.22 sq ft box | $2.49 |
| Villa European Oak engineered hardwood | 19mm | 3mm top layer | Nail-down | $83.31 per 19.42 sq ft box | $4.29 |
Prices checked October 31, 2026. Box prices and coverage come from our current catalogue.
One thing the box prices hide: the 8mm plank has the lower box price at $37.24, against $44.68 for the 6mm plank, yet it costs more per sq ft. Its box holds 16.55 sq ft where the 6mm box holds 23.64 sq ft. Compare the last column, not the box price.
Riche 6mm SPC: lower per sq ft than the other three
At $1.89 per sq ft, the Riche Blonde Sand Oak plank comes in below the other three floors in this group. Each box covers 23.64 sq ft, so it also needs the fewest boxes for a given room. It is the one to look at first for a basement, since our catalogue lists it as waterproof and its title says it comes with an IXPE pad. Its listed install method is click-lock.
Riche 8mm SPC: a thicker plank with a 20mil wear layer
The Nordic Frost plank costs $2.25 per sq ft, which is $0.36 more than the 6mm plank. For that you get a thicker board and a 20mil wear layer that our catalogue labels Commercial / Heavy Duty. Boxes are smaller at 16.55 sq ft, so the same room takes more of them. Choose it when the floor will see heavy daily traffic, a busy family room or a basement that doubles as a play space.
Swiss Krono laminate: 10mm click-lock in grey oak
This 10mm laminate comes in at $2.49 per sq ft and carries an AC5 rating in its product title. A box covers 17.22 sq ft. Our quotes add underlay for laminate, and the next section prices that for a sample room. Because our catalogue gives it no waterproof listing, keep it for rooms above ground level unless we confirm otherwise on your quote.
Villa European oak: engineered hardwood at $4.29 per sq ft
The Villa plank is real oak on an engineered core: 19mm thick with a 3mm oak top layer, character grade and a wire-brushed finish. It costs $4.29 per sq ft, which is $2.40 more than the 6mm SPC, and a box covers 19.42 sq ft. Its listed install method is nail-down, so the subfloor under it matters. Pick it for a main floor where you want a wood surface.
What 400 sq ft of material costs for each floor
Here is the arithmetic for a 400 sq ft basement or main floor, so you can repeat it with your own room size:
- Add a 5% waste allowance, as our quotes do: 400 × 1.05 = 420 sq ft.
- Divide by the sq ft in one box and round up to whole boxes. For the 6mm SPC, 420 ÷ 23.64 is about 17.8, so 18 boxes.
- Multiply the boxes by the box price: 18 × $44.68 = $804.24.
- Add 13% HST to the material.
| Floor | Boxes | Material | HST at 13% | Material plus HST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Riche 6mm SPC | 18 | $804.24 | $104.55 | $908.79 |
| Riche 8mm SPC | 26 | $968.24 | $125.87 | $1,094.11 |
| Swiss Krono laminate | 25 | $1,070.75 | $139.20 | $1,209.95 |
| Villa engineered hardwood | 22 | $1,832.82 | $238.27 | $2,071.09 |
These totals cover boxes only. Delivery, installation, removal of an old floor and trim are priced separately on your quote, and the laminate needs underlay as well. At 200 sq ft per roll, 420 sq ft takes 3 rolls, and our rate of $50.00 per roll makes $150.00 before HST. Whether the 8mm SPC needs underlay is confirmed at quote, since its title does not mention a pad.
Choosing between the four for your room
- Basement, tighter budget: the 6mm SPC at $1.89 per sq ft, listed with an IXPE pad.
- Basement or busy room, more wear layer: the 8mm SPC at $2.25 per sq ft and 20mil.
- Dry room above ground, laminate look: the Swiss Krono grey oak at $2.49 per sq ft.
- Main floor in real oak: the Villa engineered hardwood at $4.29 per sq ft.
These are starting points, not a recommendation for your house. A quote that names your rooms and your address is what turns them into a plan.
More choice than four floors
The four floors above are a sample. On the pricing date, our catalogue held 87 in-stock SPC vinyl floors, 130 laminate floors, 61 engineered hardwood floors and 144 hardwood floors, each with a box coverage listed. You can browse the wider SPC and LVP plank range online, which lists 102 products.
All four floors in the tables were in stock on that date. Our in-stock vs special order guide explains how that differs from a special order. If you would rather collect an in-stock order yourself from the Toronto showroom, read our same-day flooring pickup post.
Frequently asked questions about flooring in Oshawa and Clarington
Do you deliver flooring to Oshawa and Clarington?
Yes. Orders for Oshawa and Clarington, Courtice and Bowmanville included, can be delivered to your address. This page gives no delivery price, so ask for it when you request your quote.
Do you install the floor as well, and what does it cost?
We install in both places, so you can buy the floor and the installation together. We have not published a price for installation in this area; it is quoted for your rooms.
Is there a flooring store in Oshawa that I can visit?
Our showroom is in Toronto, at the address below, and we do not describe a separate Oshawa location. Use the call and text numbers below if you want to confirm that a floor is in stock before you travel.
What flooring suits an Oshawa basement?
Start with the two SPC vinyl floors, because our catalogue lists both as waterproof. The 6mm plank has the lower price per sq ft, and the 8mm plank has the thicker wear layer.
How do the four floors compare on price?
Both SPC planks come in under the laminate, at $1.89 and $2.25 per sq ft against $2.49. The engineered hardwood sits well above all three at $4.29 per sq ft, which is what you pay for real oak on top.
Can I get hardwood delivered and installed?
Yes, hardwood is part of the range we deliver and install. The Villa engineered hardwood above is one example, and the catalogue lists other hardwood floors too. Which one suits your house depends on the subfloor, so mention the room when you ask for a quote.
